8 1/2 Questions to Ask Yourself before Deciding to Homeschool
I've come up with a series of questions that I think anyone who is
considering homeschooling should be able to answer. Sorry, I can't
give you the answers, that would be cheating ;-)
However, if you are considering homeschooling, I have created a

1. Are you willing to
accept responsibility for your child’s education?
2. Do you want to spend most the day and
week with your child?
3. Are you willing to provide your child
with all the necessary socialization opportunities that
non-homeschoolers worry about? (the corollary to this question
follows)
3.5 Will you be able to find time for
yourself?
4. Are you willing to figure out how your
children will learn a subject you know nothing about or even despise?
5. How are you going to afford
homeschooling?
6. Are you flexible enough to change
tactics as needed?
7. Are you willing to be judged by family
and strangers about your decision to homeschool?
8. Do you want more control over your
family time and values?
