Event: Girls Inc. Project BOLD (Grades 2-5)

Welcome to a different type of self-defense and violence prevention program for girls. They will learn how to avoid being victims of violence by negotiation, assertiveness, and self-defense skills that help avoid violent situations and increase their personal safety. Girls will learn blocks, hand techniques, kicks, and releases used in responding to physical attacks as well as verbal responses to threats. They will also learn how to determine if a situation has the potential to become dangerous. Let your child celebrate their strengths, abilities, and most importantly their right to feel safe in the world.
