Event: Fencing for Kids (Ages 10-15)

Students will learn basics of the exciting sport of modern foil fencing. In a group setting with bouting (sparring) time, they will learn several types of attack and appropriate defenses against each. A supply fee of $100, payable to the instructor, covers cost of a practice foil, which students will own, and the use of protective gear. Instructors Gary Vanderwege and Neil Mittal are nationally certified fencing coaches. San Antonio Fencing Center is located at 14034 Nacogdoches Rd. near O'Connor Rd. next door to Pump It Up.
