Event: Solar cooking for Spring

Monika Salyer of Solar Cooking International will demonstrate how solar cooking is the simplest, safest, most convenient way to cook food without consuming fuels or heating up the kitchen. Learn about different methods and types of solar cookers. Make a mini solar cooker to take home. Second Saturday Program at Medina River Natural Area, 15890 Highway 16 South. 9 - 11 a.m. Donations suggested $3 per person, $5 per family. 624-2575 for reservations.
