Event: Spring Fling with the Wild Things

| Have you ever seen a gazelle perform ballet or a rhinoceros jam out a tap routine? If not, then the Parks and Recreation Department invites you to experience the wild things as they come to life in the historic Sunken Garden Theatre in Brackenridge Park. Enjoy our Spring Fling with the Wild Things free dance entertainment and family fun event celebrating the Parks and Recreation Department’s 75th Anniversary of Dance 11 a.m. to 1 pm. Pack a picnic lunch or purchase some barbecue while you're there, then prepare to enjoy two hours of dance entertainment as you’ve never experienced it before. Families will also enjoy face painting, Japanese Tea Garden tours, information on the Parks and Recreation Department, the San Antonio Public Library, Animal Care Services and other City services, refreshment booths and much more. Bring family pets and have them micro-chipped by Animal Care Services for just $15. For more information, call 207-3133. |
