Fredericksburg Theater Company was formed in March 1997 to add live theater productions to the cultural and entertainment opportunities of this unique Texas Hill Country town. The more than 9,000 residents of our town and the more than 2 million visitors that come through every year now have another option for their evening's activities.
We perform our shows in two venues. The large-scale musicals with full orchestra are produced in the Fredericksburg High School auditorium. Our plays and musical reviews are performed at the FTC Theater (formerly the Gillespie County Historical Society Center, 312 W. San Antonio Street). Both venues are easy to find. The time and place for each production will be prominently displayed on its separate page at this site.
