| Texans One and All is a collection of brief stories about the people who came to, lived in, and created Texas over the past 12,000 years. A rich resource of text and primary sources for educators, the site provides access to information about individuals, families, and settlements representing several major cultural, geographic, ethnic, and religious groups in the world. Coordinated with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Social Studies and Texas History (TEKS), educators can use the information in their classrooms to compare and contrast various ethnic groups, their areas of settlement, customs, and contributions, as well as learn about specific individuals who contributed to Texas history. Texans One and All will allow the teacher to explain the concept of diversity within the unity of Texas |
