History of US (1): The First Americans, A

 Author: Joy Hakim

This is the first book in a series of ten covering the United States. I've been reading these out loud to my son and we're up to book five. I figure by the time we're finished with the series, he will be able to read them himself.

This is a wonderful series! Each chapter is only three to five pages long and is easy and enjoyable to read. This is a "story," our history, and very well done. It will be the only US history text you'll need

Presents the history of the Native Americans from earliest times through the arrival of the first Europeans.
