Parent Educators Teaching A Love of School PETALS is a cooperative community of homeschooling parents who are actively involved in providing the best possible education for their children. We welcome all types of homeschooling families in NW San Antonio and we do not require a statement of faith to become a part the group.

We offer support and resources to both new and seasoned homeschooling families, and provide opportunities for our children to connect and form long-lasting friendships. We provide both fun and educational activities for our kids-park days, field trips, home playdates, as well as events to allow parents to connect- Parents Night Out, Parents Game Night, Monthly Coffee Night, and Girls Night Out. Join the fun at Raymond Russell Park on the northwest side of San Antonio, Texas! We’re a group of home schooling families that meet for a fun park day, make friends and learn! We welcome everyone…home schoolers, unschoolers, and unfulfilled, unsatisfied public/private schoolers of all faiths. We’re unstressed and comfortable; you might even call us relaxed. 🙂

Raymond Russell has a multitude of playgrounds, volleyball and basketball courts, and even a riverbed for exploring. We meet Tuesdays between 10am and 1pm for the summer months of June, July and August, and from noon till 3pm during September through May.

We are a Christian support group, located in San Antonio, Texas, for families who are educating their children at home.

Our mission is to glorify God by supporting and encouraging one another through prayer, mentoring and fellowship as we educate our children at home. We work to enhance your family’s home education experience through field trips, co-ops and celebrations.

Membership requires the family to be home educating according to Texas State Law. Each member will be responsible for helping with the success of the events by holding a position within the group.

This group is for homeschoolers of all ages (and their parents, of course) in the north central areas (i.e Stone Oak, Timberwood Park, Bulverde, Spring Branch).

We meet every Wednesday from 10-12 at Bullis County Park. We gather each week to have a place where the kids can play and make new friends and the adults can have a chance to talk with each other and share ideas.

Occasionally we might do a field trip or go on a hike together.

LifeShine Homeschool Enrichment Program provides homeschooling families the opportunity to enhance their children’s learning experiences one day a week with various enrichment classes, positive friendships and social development in a fun group environment. Our desire is to help children experience activities that aid in developing their God-given gifts and abilities. Our instructors hold to strong Biblical values and strive to honor Jesus Christ in all they do and say.

LifeShine offers enrichment classes in both spring and fall semesters to 1st through 12th grade homeschool students. Children in grades 1st through 6th have all-day enrichment activities, so parents drop their children off for the entire day. Students in grades 7th through 12th have “a la carte” choices in core classes and electives to better meet their needs and time constraints.

The Latter-Day Heritage Home School Association is located in San Antonio, Texas. Although most of our membership consists of Latter-Day Saints, we are not an exclusive group and require no statement of faith to join.

Currently, we are comprised of two groups, one on the East side and one on the West side of San Antonio.

We desire to bring together those families with children who are educated at home.

Our relationship to each other, as we pursue this great endeavor, should be one of caring, support, consideration and love.

Our decision to teach our loved ones in a nurturing environment at home, sets us apart from the great majority of parents and children who spend their week being educated in public and private institutions.

We recognize the unique needs of the home-schooling parent and child and we believe that through our combined efforts, our group may help meet some of those needs.

We believe that it is the primary responsibility of parents to bring up and educate their children in all ways regarding faith, understanding, morality, truth and knowledge.

The KONOS KARATS group serves those who live in the Hill Country area of Texas, including New Braunfels, San Marcos, Austin, San Antonio, Schertz, Cibolo, Seguin, Wimberley and Canyon Lake.

We are Christian parents-MOMS and DADS-who have formed a group to allow networking and support among families who have chosen to use the unit study approach to home educate our children. We are using the KONOS unit study curriculum and approach to teach our children and unify our families.

We function solely as a support/networking group for PARENTS. We are not a co-op for children.

INFINITY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY, INC. seeks to partner with parents to provide: curriculum, direction and planning, classroom instruction, weekly lesson plans, daily assignments, periodic testing, class projects, labs, field trips, parties, and grade reports. For the students it is our goal to provide: fellowship, encouragement, challenge, coaching, positive competition, accountability, godly character development, and foster spiritual growth. We accomplish this through two days a week teacher-led classroom instruction with the remaining three days of school assignments done under the encouraging supervision of the parents at home. The parents partner with the school to mentor their children in Christian behavior, disciplined work habits, and to co-teach lessons.The essential core subjects of Math, Language Arts (English, Reading, Writing, Spelling), Science, and History, are taught on Tuesdays/Thursdays. An elective course in PE is offered after school on the same days.

Infinity Christian Academy, Inc. is a non-profit private Christian school where the best features of a traditional classroom education are combined with the strengths of parent-led schooling for the goal of academic excellence within the framework of Christian discipleship. We are a Homeschool field trip group for Christians on the NE side of San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas. We get together mostly on Thursdays and Wednesdays for play time or organized field trips AND offer fun Fridays at parks!

Our Home Teen group is part of Home Team and offers teen activities every month. Our teen group is for ages 12 to 18yrs. We often have special activities for the teens at our weekly Friday park days too!

All members must have at least one homeschooled child that is 4 years or older to enjoy the membership - as most field trips are aimed at kinder and older. We encourage all members to join in on at least one activity a month when possible. We do require that members attend at least once every 3 months.
