For groups of children, VIA offers facility tours of its maintenance garage and a bus ride around our property. These tours teach children what it takes to keep the VIA buses on the road every day.

Here is what children can expect on this free tour of VIA’s facilities:

  • The tour will be approximately one hour long.
  • Children will take a walk through the maintenance garage with a guide.
  • Children will also board a VIA bus for a ride around the property and possibly a ride through the bus wash.
  • Minimum age requirement for participants in the tour is 5 years.
  • There is a maximum of 20 students per group.
  • Youth groups of all kinds are welcome.
  • Special give-a-ways will be presented to each child.
  • Groups are responsible for arranging transportation of the children to VIA’s facility.
  • At least two weeks notice is requested for facility tours.

For more information, or to schedule a facility tour, call 362-2370.
