The Southwest Educational Development Laboratory (SEDL) is a private, not-for-profit education research and development corporation based in Austin, Texas. SEDL's heritage of education R&D;, which spans more than 30 years, began when SEDL investigated early English language learning and developed curriculum materials for use in teaching English to Latino children.
