Smoothing the Way is a
support group dedicated to serving first-year homeschooling mothers. Each month
a topic of specific interest to the new homeschooler is offered. Veteran
homeschooling moms and guest speakers are available to inform and encourage
those who have decided to take on the exciting, yet sometimes daunting, task of
educating their own children.
Smoothing the Way exists to
serve the new homeschooler. We will offer you information that will make your
first year less confusing. We will also offer you the opportunity to meet other
new homeschoolers who are sharing your experiences. We organize park days,
Children’s Fine Arts Series, and other field trip opportunities and activities
to help make your first year of homeschooling a success for parents and
students!
