Girl Scouts is open to all girls ages 5-17. In partnership with adult
volunteers and professional staff, girls develop qualities that will
serve them all of their lives, like leadership, strong values, social
conscience and conviction of their own potential and self worth.
Girl Scouts of the San Antonio Area (GSSAA) has been serving
girls since 1924 throughout an 8 county jurisdiction: Atascosa,
Bandera, Bexar, Frio, Kendall, Kerr, Medina and Wilson Counties.
The Girl Scouts of the San Antonio Area (GSSAA) has organized a home school committee, which hosts monthly events and activities for home school families. These events are family oriented and parents and siblings are encouraged to participate. The activities are curriculum – based, educational and meet the requirements for badges, try-it’s, and interest project patches.
