Children’s Ballet

Mondays 12:30pm - 1:30 pm
$10/class

Payment is per month, $30
Description:
Children’s Ballet is a gentle introduction to the art and technique of Ballet. Children will gain coordination and strength as they jump and skip and play their way through their discovery of Ballet (I use the Vaganova technique).
Some of what we will do and learn are:
- dance games
- learn ballet vocabulary
- leaps, jumps, hops
- stories about Ballet
- the 5 Ballet position
- proper port de bras
- barre work
- stretching
- traveling and “linking” steps of Ballet
Schedule:
October 7, 14, 21
November 4, 11, 18
December 2, 9, 16
January 13, 20, 27
Classes will continue if enough interest continues and dates will be added to the schedule.
