St. Philip’s College is hosting “Women Breaking Through”, a FREE Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) outreach event for girls in grades 8-12 on Saturday, October 12. Young women will engage in hands-on workshops led by female STEM professionals in areas such as Nanotechnology, Forensics, Robotics, etc. In addition, a morning session will be held for parents regarding STEM initiatives, college readiness and scholarships.
