Just like you, we’ve spent the summer re-charging and coming up with new ways to reach students.
Here at the Bill of Rights Institute, we believe that our job is to provide you and your students with tools you can use inside and outside the classroom.
That’s why today, we’re pleased to announce the launch of our debate preparation webinars. These interactive, online webinars provide a valuable tool to assist students participating in debates sponsored by the National Speech and Debate Association, National Christian Forensics and Communications Association, or Logos Forensics Association.
A nationally recognized expert on each debate topic will present information relevant to the debate resolution. He or she will then take questions from students participating in the webinar in real-time. The first webinar will be for the National Speech and Debate Association’s Lincoln Douglas Resolution, featuring the following topic: The United States federal government should substantially increase its economic and/or diplomatic engagement with the People’s Republic of China.
The webinar will feature expert Charles Glaser of George Washington University. Sign-up to participate today – the first 50 students to sign up also get a free book to help you prepare for your debate. This webinar will be held September 8th from 7-8pm, EST.
We hope you’ll encourage your students to participate in these exciting and useful webinars!
