About the Program
Home School Days provides your students and families with an unforgettable day filled with family-fun activities designed to encourage hands-on educational experiences. This guided program includes family-focused, appropriate, and interactive experiences centered around animal adaptations and educational activities throughout the park.
Students will explore and learn about animals, conservation efforts and stories relating to SeaWorld. Through the use of audience participation and interactive sessions, students are kept involved and excited to learn more. Bring your own lunch and your family can enjoy a picnic between our captivating activities. Engaging learning-based activities, biological artifacts, interactive exhibits and more will expand upon what your student is already learning and introduce new concepts for the whole family to enjoy!
Availability:
Home School Days are available on select non-operating dates in November and December of 2016. Reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance and are subject to availability. Call our Contact Center at 1-800-700-7786 for availability and to make your reservation.
Program Details:
- Program cost is $18 per participant (children 2 and under are free).
- Admission to SeaWorld is not included and is not required.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paid adult.
- Late arrivals may miss program components or may not be accommodated due to limited availability.
- Times, prices, and components are subject to change and availability.
- Reservation cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance or total payment will be forfeited.
- This program is only offered on non-operating days.
- This guided program is approximately a four and half hour outdoor walking experience.
- Season Passes are not valid as this is a separate ticketed event.

Lunches:
There is time allotted for families to enjoy a sack lunch they brought with them. We will provide a location to eat and an area to dispose of trash. Families are responsible for carrying their belongings for the entire duration of the program, so it is suggested to pack light. Please avoid packing lunches or drinks in ice chests or coolers. It is recommended to pack lunches in small individual totes. Also, for the safety of our animals, please do not bring glass containers or straws.
Special accommodations:
Individuals with disabilities who require special accommodations for this experience are requested to provide two (2) weeks’ notice of their need for accommodation. SeaWorld will attempt to satisfy requests received less than two (2) weeks in advance, to the extent it can do so within the time provided. Please visit the Contact Us page to submit your request.

SeaWorld Home School Days run from 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM. During this guided experience, your family may experience:
- Penguins at Penguin Encounter®
- Animals from around the world at the Animal Conservation and Connection Center
- Viewing Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins at our brand new underwater viewing exhibit
- Feeding Sea Lions at Pacific Point Preserve
- Engaging activities about marine mammals
- Sharks at Explorer’s Reef
