| Texas Folklife Resources (TFR) is a private, nonprofit cultural organization dedicated to celebrating and perpetuating the traditional arts and culture of the Lone Star State. We work directly with folk artists and communities to document living traditions and present them to the public through exhibitions, concerts, media projects and educational residencies. The folk arts not only testify to Texas's rich cultural diversity but also represent a cultural continuum: as part of our proud heritage and as a dynamic force in contemporary society.
