| The Symphony of the Hills has been presenting concerts (four per
season, two in the fall and two in the spring) since October 2001. This
season's concerts are scheduled for Kerrville for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday
evenings October 7, December 2, 2004 and February 24 and April 28,
2005 at the Cailloux Theater, 910 Main Street.
The Symphony of the Hills has about 75 players, most of whom are
from the Kerrville area, but also includes skilled players from San
Antonio, Austin, and other places in the region.
Dr. Jay Dunnahoo, Symphony of the Hills conductor, is on the
faculty at Schreiner University, he is former associate conductor of the
Pasadena, Texas Philharmonic Orchestra and he resides here in
Kerrville, Texas.
The Symphony's home is in the Kathleen C. Cailloux Theater at
910 Main Street in Kerrville. All concerts occur in that venue with
occasional exceptions. |
