SARA staff are available to make presentations at schools throughout the San Antonio River Authority basin. Areas of expertise that fall within the SARA mission include water quality, water monitoring, laboratory analysis, wastewater treatment operations and maintenance, flood control, river engineering, river ecology, watershed protection and management, water sources, parks, and recreation.

SARA staff are available to provide tours to educators and/or school groups. Tour sites include

  • Urban and rural flood control infrastructure,
  • Wastewater treatment facilities, and
  • Water reuse facilities.

SARA staff are also available to work directly with educators to develop informative brochures, maps, and other educational materials tailored to meet the basin’s needs.
